The decline of the textile industry and the closure of major industrial companies forced the Augsburg region to accelerate its transformation and drive a shift in public perception. Today, the A³ region - comprising the city of Augsburg and the districts of Augsburg and Aichach-Friedberg - is a dynamically growing innovation hub, home to forward-looking business and research. Here, a value-driven and sustainable future is envisioned, shaped, supported, and lived. Since 2019, our repositioning efforts, communication concepts, and location campaigns have played a key role in this fast-forward transformation. Through multi-year PR campaigns, we continue to push this development - in close collaboration with the local real estate sector.
Repositioning Strengthens the Region’s Future Potential
In an intensive brand repositioning process for A³ -including joint workshops with Regio Augsburg Wirtschaft GmbH and a wide range of stakeholders -the slogan “We make the future. Better.” was developed. The logo and corporate design featuring the “Fast Forward” triangle reflect the dynamic and visionary realignment of this economic region. Ongoing campaigns generate attention and provide a clear competitive advantage in attracting businesses and skilled professionals. Best practice examples demonstrate the momentum and sustainability of this transformation into a future-oriented location.
Networking Accelerates Image Transformation
Through networking events and virtual round tables, we create synergies between companies, research institutions, and public bodies. Our campaign partner coaching helps A³ partners optimize their communication strategies. This is complemented by stage, camera, and social media training to ensure professional delivery of key messages. With high-profile coverage in Süddeutsche Zeitung, immo manager, Bayerische Staatszeitung, and konii, we are increasing media visibility across Germany.
Unique Real Estate Award Promotes Project Development
With news pitches and interviews, we provide a public platform for many pioneering projects as part of the real estate location campaign. The newly developed A³ Real Estate Award for sustainable project development in the DACH region serves as an international networking tool while highlighting Augsburg’s innovative strength. At the award ceremony, experts and emerging talents present future-oriented construction projects. Under the patronage of the City of Augsburg, the award features a distinguished jury from the fields of architecture, sustainability, real estate, politics, and academia.
